Delgados are doing two shows at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith, London on the 13th and 14th May. The first night is going to feature early Delgados material. Taken from their clydebeat mop-top suit-wearing early years. Second night is later Delgados. Acid-influenced, kaftan wearing eastern mysticism sitar playing with big beards. The Delgados release their new single, 'All You Need Is Hate', on Monday the 17th of February 2003. Taken from their fourth album 'Hate'; this almost-title track finds the band in their most buoyant, cynical form yet. 'All You Need Is Hate' is an anti-anthem, a foot-stomping, joyous car-wrecked celebration of hate and how it's the only way to get on in life everyone feels it, harbors it or is driven by it: your boss, your teacher, your friends, colleagues, Christ, even your mother - it's everywhere, so in the words of Alun Woodward: "Come on people, feel it like you just don't care."
'All You Need Is Hate' is backed by two previously unreleased tracks. 'Mad Drums' is the final track from the 'Hate' sessions, displaying yet another side to The Delgados with thunderous, erratic percussion punctuating a beautiful baroque chorus featuring the amazing vocals of Emma Pollock. Track three is 'Mr Blue Sky'. Deciding to fill their most recent Peel Session with cover versions, The Delgados plumped for this jukebox belter. 'Hate Is All You Need' will be available on CD (MNT 79CD) and 7" (MNT 79).

"Coming In From The Cold" will be the first single to be released from the incredible forthcoming album, 'Hate'. The single will be released on 30th September on CD and 7". Plus the band have confirmed a Radio 1 Peel session on the 15th September featuring 4 (as yet untried!!) covers.
